Prosciutto-Wrapped Cheese Straws

Prosciutto is a great complement to sweet and fresh flavors. A simple, beautiful presentation like this will be a hit at your next gathering.

Ingredients:

12 cheese straws or breadsticks (about 4 ounces)
1⁄2 cup black olive tapenade or paste
12 thin slices prosciutto

Instructions:

Using your fingers or a butter knife, spread about 2 teaspoons tapenade on each cheese straw, leaving an inch at the bottom of the straw to act as a handle. Starting at the top of each straw, spiral a slice of prosciutto around the straw, stopping where the tapenade stops. Serve immediately.
